As a sidebar to your post..... Wharfedale shipped some of thier speakers to Hong Kong to sell in the far east. I have a pair of model 70's - big 3-ways. There is no Wharfedale on the outside, but on the back there is a plastic label plate "Radio People Limited". Inside, it is all Wharfedale. The woofers are marked in white marker near the voice coil "GB '63". So from what I have heard about the way Wharfedale marked thier drivers, this woofer is from 1963.
I hope you post the info when you collect it. There are other references to Wharfedale here in this forum also.
