How about the Quad ESL, the KLH 9, JBL Paragon, I. M. Fried model R, the Snell A, Rogers LS3/5a, Dahlquist DQ-10a, Altec 19 instead of the Valencia, Allison One, Dayton-Wright, KEF 103.2, Spendor BC-1, Linn Isobarik.Also, if you go far enough into the present (after 1980) to include Boston, then I'd include the later AR's like the 9, 90, & 91. I'd also take an AR-12 or 14 over any of the AR-2 series. HPM 100 was also a bit later.
