Re: Can I get better speakers for $100 or less, new or used?

Another speakers you might look into is the EPI 100, they will most likly need to be refoamed. Total cost will come close to $100. They sound great! If you are handy with a soldering iron ,you could replace the crossover capacitor, internal wiring and input jack. I use them in my workshop with a pair of Heathkit tube amps and really enjoy the sound they produce.

From what I understand the Boston Acoustice A60 or A70 speakers sound pretty good. I have never heard them also the JBL L19's sound good.
