Awhile ago I recapped a pair of Wharfedale W60e's with Parts Express Dayton capacitors. They sound hugely better than the old caps (detail and clarity much improved) but there is a certain 'hardness' to the sound (even after significant burn-in time) that I don't care for.I don't want to lose the detail and clarity but I prefer a more laid back presentation for the classical and jazz I tend to play on this system. I suspect it's the caps.
Any suggestions for caps for these nice vintage speakers?
Thanks!
