I really like the w-70 but the woofer in a Karlson is fantastic. I used to study pipe organ( quit for lack of talent)but did and do hang around pipes and listen to folks who can actually play. Nothing I have heard does it as well ( my altec a-7 vott is close but not as clean)as the Karlson. My mids are red paint and square magnet. There appears to be interest in these for Fostex like qualities. To sum it up the w-70 is a very nice speaker with the parts greater then the whole.tdc
