Wharfedale SFB/3. SFB = Sand Filled Baffle. There were a couple of different versions, but the differences were only cosmetic (the deluxe version having nicer cosmetics). BTW, the upward firing tweeter, the Wharfedale model Super 3, is a CONE unit.I had a pair and was not particularly thrilled with them. Also, the tweeter is offset from the center. Since they were NOT available in mirror-image pairs, they did not work very well in stereo. Having written all that, you have to give Briggs some credit for coming out with a very unique design. Even if he did get the idea from Peter Walker.
