I had one of these in my monaural days. I thought it was bright and edgy and very directional, almost like a horn. Not one of my favorites. Of course it could be how I was using it; I knew very little about crossovers in those days and just used it with an L-Pad and a series capacitor. The fact that wharfedale mounts them in an angled array indicates they are directional.Jerry
