I have some model 70's too.I replaced the Motorola plugs with RS 5 ways.
Warm and woolly sound but just plain cool in a late 50's early 60's, Danish Modern, sort of way.I finally convinced the wife they'd be much happier in the house, but they sounded much better in the openness of the garage.
