That's what I was thinking was the $14 Pioneer might be pretty close. The mid ranges in these designs often covered only a few thousand Hertz, and so its not nearly as tricky as finding a suitable replacement tweeter or woofer--esp if you put a level control on it again. The 60D model used a dome tweeter.
