I have to agree, more years back than I care to remember I had a buddy who spent more time swapping gear than he did listening to the music. My present system is a Yamaha CR-820 that I restored driving a pair of Polk Model 7Bs that must be 20 years old or more. Drop in a Sarah Brightman CD and you would swear she is in the room (which my wife would not be happy about).
