I had some for a while. They are top quality. The current market value is not that high, but this doesn't have to do with their inherent quality. Mine were very clean sounding. I agree with the other poster, best with classical and jazz etc. The front and rear baffles are sand filled.

These are voiced to sound best with tube amplifiers. I ran them with a spud amp (sort of a vintage version of the $99 ASL Wave 8's). Don't kill them with high powered SS - low power handling.
