I am not an audiofile but intuitively have selected nice pieces from both flea and local goodwill stores. I just picked up a pair of wharfedale W70D mk II speakers and would like some input as to quality, age, price new, if anyone can help. The cabinets are beautiful hard wood, message on back reads "sand filled" or something to that effect. Why would they do this? any idea of used value if they check out? thanks.
