have a look at the drivers- if they are Super 10's, 8's or 12' they are worth somethiing- red backs are the most valuable (alnico) geens less so, but still woth something.
The goldDD3" tweeter is worth $90 pair, the woofers about the same
iagree that they sound flat- but try combing an 8 w a 12 (a la the famous "Magnificat" by Thorsten Loach (he used Godmand which are better)http://www.melhuish.org/audio/
