Thanks to all for the good suggestions. If I was to find an old console stereo with a tube recvr/amp, what would be a good brand that would have a decent tube amp inside. I have come across brands like magnavox, bradford, motorola. I'm not to crazy about gutting an old console, but if the price is right and the amp is a good one I will.Again, thanks to all.
