Stay away from high power. The drivers were not designed for it. Something in the 15-20 watt range and play at reasonable levels. That said, I loved my Marantz 19 with a set and it looked good. It had more power but, I don't drive my systems hard. An 18 would be a really nice match. I found units a little laid back seemed to make for a nice sound in keeping with the British concept. I just picked up a Sony STR6045 (not for sale) which also, I suspect would do nicely. Another unit that I remember doing nicely was the Onkyo TX333 and the later TX4500 MKII should likewise sond good.
