Hi Fi-Kook:I don't know the exact story, but the Radio People Limited *MAY* have been a retail outlet in Hong Kong that also sold speakers systems that they built using Wharfedale drivers. These Radio People speakers show up on eBay from time-to-time.
I would guess that some of them were brought back to the USA by servicemen who were stationed overseas in the late 50s thru early 70s. Most Wharfedale drivers have the date of manufacture hand written on the back of the cones. You may want to check yours to get an idea of when your speakers were built. The cloth surrounds are a good sign (as in older)!
