RE: da guts

I can see something written on the back of the cone. The Wharfedales I had were initialled by the guy who inspected them. One of mine was a GAB, Briggs himself. You may also find a number, which is the free air resonance, and often a date. The woofer looks like the regular 8", a very nice little full range and ought to go pretty low in a ported box of that size. Cloth surround?

Since it's in a sub-enclosure, the tweeter has to be one of their awful open back models. I had the 3", and it was way too bright. But maybe Wharfedale knew how to tame it.
