Hummmmm 12" and a horn?

That's going to be a stretch! The 12" will have some nasty breakup nodes even in the lower midrange band. ANd the horn will not kick in until around 3khz. Now if you use a Morel tweeter that can go down to around 1200hz and a 10" cone you would fair better. But the larger cabinet will cause problems in the midrange. So you're optimal cabinet size for a 10" two way is a cabinet of around 1.8 cubic foot.

How do I know this you may ask? I've DIYed the PISS out of 10" cones making a two way system.

Now we can try the cones you have if you like? Take a 0.8mH coil in series with the woofer and a 8uf cap in series with a Morel tweeter I can send you. The only way is to see if it all works out is to try it.

It you are willing to cut up the cabinet you can cut out the baffle plate with a jib saw. I would leave about a 6" rim around the outside. For testing purposes you can simply use 1/4" ply from home depot to mount the drivers on until you get it right.

Later you use the 1/4" plywood as a backing to glue a new baffle onto. I think I would have to draw that one out for you.
