The 3.5 cubic foot box for the 1259 gives a Q of 0.7. If you can tolerate (or prefer, as I do) a higher Q of 0.9, then 2 cubic feet is OK. The Advent is 0.9 and so is an AR-1/AR-3 if driven by an amp with a source impedance around 0.5-0.8 ohms (a Mac or a Dyna tube amp). So 0.9 is not uncommon in speakers of that type.Jerry
