I own several Eico's incuding the HF-81. One of the best amps I have heard. The one Sherwood I owned used a 7591, I think. This tube type would have more power at ~30w the Eico EL-84 is ~12w.
I like and own 7591 amps now but sold the Sherwood quickly after getting it as to my ears was very average sounding.
