..you should definetly go to the Eico (Yahoo) Group. It's been up for a few years and is hosted by a very nice, serious Hong Kong based collector named Richard -- he posts here from time-to-time --Shoot him an email at rcwyhk@yahoo.com.hk -- chances are he'll welcome you to the group and you can post there, ask questions and take advantage of the nice archive of Eico resources that they have there -- I'm in the process of getting an HF85 and an Eico tuner overhauled -- The have nice, simple circuits, good iron and they're not-too-tough to work on. While many of the guys on the Group page have modded and like the HF series -- there seems to be a lot of respect for the later ST stuff as well -- and the Eico monoblocs are very nice sounding when well refirbed.
