Dennis,I've been in the same situation as well - you're presented with what I call a 'lunch money deal' (something that costs less than $10), so you go ahead and buy and figure out later if what you bought is worth at least the $10 (yay! I broke even!), less than $10 (oh well, I'm out no more than lunch money), or lots more (*insert favorite cheer here*).
BTW, where do you sell? I'm sure that lots of folks are like me and have lusted after many of the items that you find at one time or another. And I know that I'd feel even better than usual knowing that I was buying from someone with both a love of vintage audio and a real need that would be helped.
With your situation, I'm hoping that your purchases continue to fall into the last category!
