In EICO's publications, EICO described HF-20 as a "Williamson amplifier". But in fact, it is a hybrid in that it has the Williamson design up to the power tube driving stages, PLUS an ultra-linear output stage which was NOT an original Williamson design.With great interest, I would like to know how HF-20 compares with the 100% Williamson amps, e.g. Radio Craftsmen 500A, in sounding.
