Thank you for the info. I did not find such a stamp on the amp. There is a stamp of the address of a barber shop in PA, on the bottom of both units (HF-81 and HFT-90), and also a 02/17/1972 date written by a permanent marker on the top of the chassis. Regardless, I am very happy with both of these units.
