Byzen -- thanks for the philosophical guidance - seriously sounds like some wise advice -- i'm not sure that my local audio salon is the way to go though -- they'll just try to sell me on some B&W's -- that are probably fabulous, way more than i want to spend -- but they are knowledgable guys -- so i will have fun with my research -- Mossback - thank you for the lead - i will follow up -- i have been in touch with Citation Jim -- he seems like a serious mensch (Yiddish for terrific guy) -- i plan to use one of his kits on the amp.
