Home Vintage Asylum

Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

honestly, your asesement is fairly spot on

i've had my fair share of tube preamps, they all sounded overly romantic and not transparent compared to both my B&K MC-101 and Classe DR-4.

and the B&K and Classe FAR outclass any of the below tube preamps i've had with regards to their phono stage.

- McIntosh MX110
- Dyanco PAS3 - restored
- Precision Fidelity C4
- MFA Magus C
- Conrad Johnson PV1 (modded to a pv2a)
