Yes to Sherwood, I recently saw a s8000 receiver go on ebay for about $275. Could have been less. You won't get any ST-70 for that but might be able to scrounge a SCA35. The s8000 is much better than the SCA35. I doubt you could get a Fisher 400 for $275, or many tube receivers or integrateds.
