Magnavox PP (push-pull) EL84 10-watts per channel or SE (single-ended)EL84 if 3-4 watts per channel is enough power. A cool upgrade for wanting something more than a Magnavox chassis needing a fuse, power cord, front panel control adds, etc are those import SE EL84 amps like AMC and other odd names. I find them using SE or single-ended or even 6BQ5/EL84 as search words on eBay in the title & checking that discription box. As a reminder, a stereo amp in PP has four EL84 and SE has two EL84. Some sellers do not use PP or SE terms.
All old amps will need the power supply capacitor(s) replaced soon and a general health check of resistor values, tubes, etc. Then, place Russian K40Y-9 caps where the old coupling capacitors exist and roll in some good tubes. The sound can be about 'jaw dropping' with just a little work.
