Is this Bad, Ok or just Sick?

I know a 1964 Eico Classic series FM multiplexer is better than the 1962 version. So, I robbed my 1964 Eico Classic 2200 series tuner & placed that multiplexer in my 1962 SE Eico 2510.

I am going to use a modern IC based multiplexer in the 1964 tuner anyways. But, would you go so far as to swap out multiplexers?
