I have purchased new Clarostat pots of differing value and transfered the new pot's shaft and wiper assembly to the old, damaged Clarostat pot that I was trying to fix. I have fixed CTS and Alps pots this way too.As long as the carbon track of your original pot is undamaged, I have had much success with this method of repair.
Old tone control pots are usually a one-of-a-kind, custom manufactured type of things. Hard to find when the outfit that had it made no longer exists...
