Have you ever heard a Knight KN 734? It is an EL 84 based stereo amp that Allied radio offered briefley. It is a true top end amp with fixed bias and a lot of nice features. I think it beats most EL 84 based amps. In small integrateds it is in the same class sound quality wise as the KN 85 power amp.
