No, we should not rule out vintage audio based on age alone.

Value for dollars, that's what I am saying, I've seen people paid $400 and above on a Eico 81, all because there's a web article with pretty pictures of a Eico 81, and it's classified as the world's best vintage integrated amp......I am chuckling as I am typing this.......then all the Eico Ebay sellers all use this line.......rofl.........

If you want sound with the stereophile delicacy, Eico 81 is not it, it's for collector (if it's unbuilt or in mint condition), or for people who like to tinker with electronics.
