No, the Celstion 3's do not use the same tweeter as the SL 6. I own the 3's and know about the SL6's and the tweeters and woofer are not the same.
Both are great speakers. The 3's were rated # 1 budget speaker by HiFi Choice and a few others back around in 92/93'.
