the ditton series was very good but just a bit fat sounding for me. but they did serve the music well.
solutions speaker repair in hollywood calif does a lot of work along these lines, theres their phone #: 323.666.4161. stephan or santiago are the ones you would want to speak to. stephan runs the show, santiago is the artisan who does the beautiful work.
going there is like going into a museum. i saw a 30" EV foam/aluminum foil sandwich diaphragm and some tannoy drivers that were a joy to look at from the backside!
