RE: Clever Suggestions for Vintage Inexpensive Speakers for Magnavox SE84

Old Altec 409, 8" concentric ceiling speakers sound wonderful in a 2'cuft cabinet.

Replace the two cheapo caps with something better.

Lots of variants of these over the years and not sure the difference between the vintages.

SQ is punchy, out of the box and fun. Awesome mid-range.

Love em with my Heathkit AA32.
