RE: Speaker reccomendations for Dynaco ST-35 amp

I'm using a pair of locally made Van L Quartets with a modified Magnavox 9304 amp. This is a magic combination, much to my surprise as I have some very good solid state amps.

The Quartets are fairly efficient and have a smaller footprint. Bass is excellent and they throw a soundstage unlike anything I've heard. Lots of 'you are there' or 'they are here' moments to be had.

The amp employs an enhanced fixed bias circuit developed by Dave Gillespie. I have the Z565 OPTs (clones of the Dynaco ST35 opt) but as yet have found no compelling reason to dissassemble the Magnavox and install them.
