Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

RE: Bozak

Actually, I gave them to a relative.

When I retired, I fulfilled a lifetime ambition to design and build my own speaker systems. I first studied the subject with G. A. Briggs's "Loudspeakers" in the fifties (hence the "briggs") and kept up-to-date through all those years when family and career occupied my time and energy.

I learned a lot more actually doing it than I did from all those years of study. Beware of textbooks. Much of the material authoritatively conveyed by them is second hand, and not informed by the author's own experience. Briggs wrote largely from his own experience and that of immediate associates, and unintentionally set me up for his successors.

In the intervening years the Bozaks provided a satisfying listening experience. Before I married I bought them and new McIntosh tube gear, as I realized I would at best have time only to listen to music, not mess around with the gear.
