Nice gear you got there, Swiller! To answer your question, you are definitely not the only one. Being retired, I spend a good portion of many days playing in the man cave where all my "stuff" is. In one day, I listen to as many as six different systems, each with a different TT.......Empire 598 w/Shure M97xe, ARxa w/Shure V15 III, Harman Kardon T45C w/Stanton 500EE, Dual 1219 w/Shure V15 III, Thorens TD125 MKII w/Ortofon FF15XE MKII, and a Technics SL-D2 w/ Audio-Technica cartridge.
Like you, I just get quizzical stares from my friends and neighbors when they see the gear, but they love the sound it makes. We're the lucky ones. :-)
