Celestion DL-4 bookshelf speakers

My buddy spotted a pair of the Celestion DL4's at a thrift store today and bought them for me knowing I like "British" speakers....he paid more than he would have for himself (I reimbursed him plus some extra cash) but thought I'd like 'em.

I listened to them on his Sony micro system and they sounded great! Cannot wait to find a spot for them here.

Anyone have any experience with these? I used to sell Celestion when I worked at CMC stereo back in the 80's and remember how well they sounded. (The DL4's did not come out until after CMC shut down, but their previous models were great!)

I just cannot remember what amp/receiver would sound best with these. I plan on using them in a bedroom, roughly 17X24.

Let me know if you have any suggestions. Also, I need grills for these puppies.
