Hello there forum !

I have just discovered you :)

I have a Q.

I own a pair of dovedale 3's that came from my parents house. They had them since the 70's coupled up to a quad 33/303. When I was little they sounded awesome !

I now have a space dilema and only want to keep them if they will perform as a good speaker in modern terms.

What do you guys think about this ? I know they are reputed to be one of the best of their day, but would a small set of monitors out do these nowadays ?

I feel terrible to get rid as they are an heirloom ! What say you ?
