Home Vintage Asylum

Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

Sounds like Scott tube integrated would float your boat

I have a Scott 299a and 299c and they have the Grado style sound you desire. If you do get a Scott and restore it, use polyester caps or oil caps (to couple the output tubes) to retain the vintage sound.

What speakers are you using? The 299a is around 20w and the 299c is around 35w or so.

I have Klipsch Cornwalls and am currently using a Fisher X-100 but the Scott sound seems to be the ticket to what you are looking for.

Jerry
