Re: Typo

I have to agree. McIntosh amps are "nice". But a good quality tube amp running up to spec and rebuilt can perform as well or better. I have a 2105. A very "nice" amp. The last word in audio - not by a long shot. But again in is a good amp in MANY respects and I have no SERIOUS complaints. But again a good tube amp like a Dynaco with a few minor upgrades can do the same job with more "heart". I think were McIntosh makes it's mark is if you are looking for Concert hall volume levels. GREAT performance amps.

I've never really given the preamps a side by side, funny I don't know why??????
