Yup, the 3 1/2 inch conre tweeters are just not quite bright enough for a current sound. I used circular round horns I got at Radio shack years aho as a replacement, but those are no longer available. I think the circular horn tweeters Pioneer has ($9.95 each) at Parts Express are near identical, and will mount right on the existing screws
You have a tweeter level control on back to tweak the ouput, but otherwise use the existing crossover as is.
