First Big Score of the year - Celestion Ditton 442 Speakers

Picked up a pair of Celestion Ditton 442 three-ways today at an estate sale for $50. They need new cloth grilles and one of the cabinets needs a little refinishing oil, but no dents, bumps or scratches. Drivers were all perfect. I really didn't need them, but couldn't pass them by for that price - actually I did pass them up yesterday at the sale when they were $100, but I came home and saw that they sold in 1980 for $1100, so I went back today for half-price day and they were still there - what a deal! I've only tried 'em with my Marantz 26 and they sound fantastic. Anybody else have some of these????? Just wondering what the consensus was on this brand.
