Back when I was a teen,Thursday nite was my Holy Day,er, Night.Picked up countless tvs,portable radios,phonos,etc.OMG.Mostly it was tubes,even an Atwater Kent was found(geez,it was heavy)with the tallest tubes I'd ever seen then.
Swap meets,ebay,the internet?? It was all out there on the curb,ripe for the pickin'.
