Electrolytics not paper/oil, EL34's not KT66's, resistors not choke filtering, metal caps gone. Production costs got to them I think, keeping up an OLD design while trying to go stereo - not to mention their gawdawful SS gear was close at hand.... But never mind, a nice piece of history with a fine pedigree all the same. And there are mods out there for the PS - but I was advised long ago, by guys of that era, not to bother with them too much - just enjoy .
