I could get an EICO HF-85 for cheap, but it is not working properly and needs a lot of attention. I'm trying to find out if it will be worth the effort.
I'd be using it with a Dynaco ST70 with Triode board, and Spendor BC-1 speakers. I'm currently using the Dynaco PAS-3 preamp, which I'm not too impressed with. Will the rebuilt EICO sound better than that?
I use it for phono only. Thanks for your input.
