As it turns out I'm one of the guys that had a pair of Infinity Reference Standard 2.5's with the electronic crossover. I and my friends thought it was a great system. Because the highs are dipoles, it took some room treatment and careful placement, but once set up, they did as good a job on symphonic works as anything I've heard.In what respect did you think they were crap, and have you heard them biamped with the matching crossover?
