You need a tube forum.
Leave the vintage to the guys and gals that enjoy the hunt. There is nothing 'cheap' about the quality of sound of 60s & 70s TOTL ss gear.
I've said it before, tube gear is tube gear. Doesn't matter when it was made.
The major gear manufacturers determined tube gear was obsolete, and have concentrated on the transistor. I believe they were correct.
The intense competition during the 70s brought to fruition superb quality parts and designs of ss gear.
