There are no rules when it comes to marantz documentation apparently.Things very often don't match up.My 2270 schematic has the service bulletins attached,mentioning transistor replacement for the phono stage stage and replacements also may be needed for speaker relays up to certain serial nos.
The 2270 had 2 phono inputs throughout it's run,if that's what you're wondering about.My outputs are motorolas.Can't get a look at their ser. nos. but they're stamped 7352,meaning the last week of '73.
